Bahlest Eeble Readings Digital Premieres (Boontling for "most excellent eyeball/study") is a creative lab over approximately twelve months that gives emerging composers readings of their new works while in progress. In accordance with our Climate Commitment, starting in 2022 all new pieces will be premiered virtually and Composer Fellows will attend along with a digital audience. Learn more.

Boonville Music Series

The Boonville Music Series is the Academy’s in-house music event series. Usually hosted in the Anderson Valley, these concerts bring together our visiting Performers, Composer Fellows, and local community to present and discuss music. Truly excellent performances from a diverse line-up of voices, engaging commentary from our musicians themselves, and ample opportunities for the audience to ask questions. Learn more.

#GLFCAMGIGTHRUCOVID19

#GLFCAMGigThruCOVID19 was a commissioning project started during the onset of the COVID-19 outbreak in the US. Through a successful GoFundMe campaign, GLFCAM was able to provide work for performers who lost their jobs during the lockdown. 65 GLFCAM composers donated their time to create solo works of 2-10 minutes each.
